Sideshow Collectibles produced a 1/6th scale Clone Trooper figure in 2012, but it was part of the "Clone Wars" series and typically featured standard 501st Legion or 212nd Attack Battalion markings, not the 442nd Siege Battalion. The 442nd Siege Battalion is a specific unit from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, and Sideshow did not release a dedicated 1/6th scale figure for this specific battalion in 2012. Therefore, if your item is labeled as a 442nd Siege Battalion Clone Trooper from Sideshow in 2012, it is likely a misidentified standard Clone Trooper figure, a third-party modification, or a counterfeit, as no such official product exists in Sideshow's 2012 catalog.
The 442nd Siege Battalion Clone Trooper was released in 2012 by Sideshow Collectibles.
The 442nd Siege Battalion Clone Trooper by Sideshow Collectibles is a 2012 limited edition figure that is no longer in production. It is not available to purchase new directly from the manufacturer, and current availability is limited to the secondary market through resellers or auction platforms.
To grade the 2012 Sideshow Collectibles 442nd Siege Battalion Clone Trooper, you should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint scratches, plastic stress marks, and seam lines, while also verifying that the included accessories and stand are intact and undamaged. For a formal certification, you must submit the figure to a recognized third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the item's condition against their specific standards and assign a numerical grade. It is important to note that the figure should be in its original packaging for a "sealed" grade, or carefully unboxed for a "loose" grade, as the grading fee and potential value depend heavily on this distinction.
