No, the 501st Legion Clone Trooper is not considered rare. Sideshow Collectibles produced this figure in a standard mass-production run for their 2010 Star Wars line, making it a common item in the secondary market. While specific variants or damaged copies may vary in value, the standard production model is widely available to collectors.

Sideshow Collectibles did not release a 501st Legion Clone Trooper figure in 2010, as the 501st Legion is a fan organization and Sideshow's catalog for that year did not include such a product. The SKU 872967 does not correspond to any known Sideshow release from that period, suggesting the item is likely a mislabeled third-party replica, a custom commission, or a counterfeit. To authenticate the item, you should compare its sculpting, paint application, and packaging against verified images of official Sideshow releases from 2010, but given the discrepancy in the product name, it is highly probable that this is not a genuine Sideshow product.
The 501st Legion Clone Trooper was released in 2010 by Sideshow Collectibles.
The 501st Legion Clone Trooper by Sideshow Collectibles is out of print and no longer available to purchase new from the manufacturer. As a 2010 release, this item is considered a discontinued collectible, and any current availability would be limited to the secondary market through third-party resellers.
Sideshow Collectibles does not issue official grading certificates for their 1/6th scale figures, so there is no standardized "grade" to look for on the box. To condition-check the figure, inspect the plastic for stress cracks, particularly around the joints and helmet, and verify that the paint on the armor and visor is free from chipping or fading. You should also ensure that all included accessories, such as the blaster and extra hands, are present and that the sculpted details have not been smoothed by wear.
