Sideshow Collectibles did not release a standalone 501st Legion Clone Trooper figure with SKU 872967 in 2010, as that specific manufacturer and year combination does not align with their known product catalog for that unit. The 501st Legion is a fan organization, and while Sideshow has produced Star Wars figures, the specific SKU and description suggest a potential mix-up with a different manufacturer, such as Hasbro, or a misidentified item. To authenticate the figure, you should verify the SKU against the official archives of the manufacturer listed on the packaging, as Sideshow typically uses distinct numbering systems that do not match this specific identifier for that year.

To assess condition, you should inspect the figure for common defects such as paint transfer on the armor, cracks in the plastic, and wear on the fabric uniform components. Additionally, verify that all included accessories, such as the blaster and helmet, are present and free from significant scuffing or damage.
