Common questions about the Aaliyah Pop! Rocks from Funko (2021).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Aaliyah Pop! Rocks figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2021. Like most standard Funko Pop! Rocks, it was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces at launch. While specific variants or sealed packaging may command higher prices, the figure itself is common and easily found in the secondary market.
The value of the Aaliyah Pop! Rocks (SKU 209) varies significantly based on condition and whether it is sealed in its original packaging. As a 2021 release, it is generally considered a common item, so loose figures typically sell for a modest amount, often below their original retail price. Sealed boxes may command a slightly higher premium, but without specific market data for current listings, a precise valuation cannot be provided.
To authenticate your Aaliyah Pop! Rocks (SKU 209), verify that the figure is approximately 3.75 inches tall and features the correct 2021 design, which typically includes a purple top and black pants with a glittery finish. Check the base for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging displays the correct SKU and copyright information. While Funko does not provide individual certificates of authenticity for standard vinyl figures, you can compare your item against official product images from Funko's website or authorized retailers to confirm the specific colorways and details match the 2021 release.
The Aaliyah Pop! Rocks was released in 2021 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Aaliyah Pop! Rocks figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. This item is currently only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! Rocks figure involves inspecting the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, as these small figures are more prone to wear than standard 3.75-inch Pops. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated in its base and that the packaging is intact, as the box is a significant component of the item's value. While third-party grading services like PSA or CGC can provide a standardized condition score, most collectors simply assess the figure's state visually before purchase.
