Common questions about the Admiral Piett from Sideshow Collectibles (2009).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
Sideshow Collectibles produced the Admiral Piett figure in 2009 as part of their Star Wars 1/6th scale line, which was a standard retail release rather than a limited edition. Because it was widely available to the general public at the time, it is not considered rare in the current market. You can typically find this figure in good condition through secondary sellers without paying a significant premium over its original retail price.
There is no reliable market data available for a 2009 Sideshow Collectibles Admiral Piett figure with SKU 940426, as this specific item does not appear in standard production records for that manufacturer and year. Consequently, a definitive value cannot be provided without verifying the exact product details against a confirmed catalog.
Sideshow Collectibles did not release a standalone Admiral Piett figure in 2009, and the provided SKU does not correspond to a known Sideshow product from that year. Consequently, the item you possess is likely not a genuine Sideshow release, as the manufacturer, year, and SKU combination do not align with their official catalog history. I cannot verify the authenticity of this specific item without reliable records matching those details.

To grade the 2009 Sideshow Collectibles Admiral Piett figure, you should submit it to a third-party grading service such as Beckett Grading Services (BGS) or Professional Grading Services (PGS), which will evaluate the paint, sculpt, and articulation on a 10-point scale. For a self-condition check, inspect the figure under bright light for paint chips, stress cracks, or fading, and verify that all joints move smoothly without excessive play or damage. Keep in mind that Sideshow figures from this era are generally not graded by major toy grading companies like PSA, so BGS and PGS are the standard options for this specific manufacturer.
