The Agent J Pop! Movies figure (SKU 718) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from the 2019 *Men in Black: International* movie tie-in line. These figures were widely distributed through major retailers and remain commonly available on the secondary market.
The value of the 2019 Agent J Pop! Movies figure (SKU 718) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened figures typically selling for between $10 and $20 on the secondary market. Opened figures in good condition generally fetch between $5 and $10, while mint-condition sealed boxes may command a slight premium if the packaging is flawless. Prices can fluctuate based on current demand and the specific marketplace, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current valuation.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Movies Agent J (SKU 718), first verify that the figure is made of vinyl with a matte finish and that the box features the official Funko logo and barcode. Check for consistent paint application, particularly on the hair and suit details, and ensure the figure sits securely on its base without excessive wobble. While specific production year markings are not always present on the box, the 2019 release date aligns with the standard distribution period for this SKU, so any significant deviations in packaging quality or figure weight are strong indicators of a counterfeit.
The Agent J Pop! Movies was released in 2019 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Agent J Pop! Movies figure (SKU 718), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear in the secondary market through resellers, it is not currently available for direct purchase from Funko.
Grading a Funko Pop! vinyl figure involves a visual inspection of the surface for common defects such as paint chips, scratches, mold lines, and seam issues, with particular attention to the head and hands where damage is most frequent. You should check the figure against the original box art to verify correct paint application and ensure the eyes are properly aligned and free of bubbles. While professional grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition score, most collectors assess value based on the presence of these visible flaws and whether the item is still sealed in its original packaging.
