Common questions about the Aggretsuko with Guitar Pop! Sanrio from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Aggretsuko with Guitar Pop! Sanrio is not considered a rare item. It is a standard production figure from Funko's Sanrio line that was widely distributed and is commonly available on the secondary market.
There is no established market value for the Funko Pop! Aggretsuko with Guitar (SKU 96) because it is a standard retail collectible that typically trades at or near its original retail price. As a mass-produced item, it does not command a premium in the secondary market unless it is sold in a sealed, unopened box, in which case it may fetch a slight markup.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Aggretsuko with Guitar, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko logo and that the figure itself is made of solid vinyl with a smooth, uniform finish. Check the base of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, which should be present on all genuine items. Additionally, ensure the paint application is clean without bleeding, and that the guitar accessory is securely attached and proportionate to the character. If the box lacks a barcode, the vinyl feels soft or porous, or the paint is chipped, the item is likely a counterfeit.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Funko Pop! Aggretsuko with Guitar (SKU 96). While Funko regularly releases Sanrio collaborations, the exact launch date for this specific variant is not clearly documented in available public records.
Funko Pop! figures are generally produced on a limited run basis and are frequently discontinued once inventory is exhausted. There is no reliable public information confirming that the Aggretsuko with Guitar Pop! is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. Consequently, this item is likely only available through the secondary market, such as resale platforms, where prices may fluctuate based on demand.
To condition-check a Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, and hairline cracks, paying close attention to the guitar and any small accessories. Verify that the head is properly seated on the body without gaps and that the base is free of scuffs or discoloration. If you intend to have it professionally graded, the figure must be in its original, unopened box, as third-party grading services like PSA typically do not grade loose, unpacked Funko Pops.
