No, the Alex Bregman Pop! MLB figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2020 MLB series that was widely distributed through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific variants like chase figures may be harder to find, the standard version remains common in the secondary market.
The standard 2020 Alex Bregman Pop! MLB vinyl figure (SKU 50) typically sells for approximately $8 to $15 in the secondary market, depending on condition and whether it is in the original packaging. As a common production run item from a major league player, it does not command a premium price over its original retail value. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on current demand for Houston Astros memorabilia, but it remains an affordable entry-level collectible.
To authenticate your Alex Bregman Pop! MLB, first verify that the packaging features the correct Funko branding, a barcode, and a holographic sticker, as these are standard security markers for 2020 releases. Examine the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, proper sculpting of the jersey and helmet, and the specific pose associated with the MLB series. If the item lacks these packaging details or exhibits poor manufacturing quality, it is likely a counterfeit, and you can cross-reference images against the official Funko website or reputable collector databases to confirm.
The Alex Bregman Pop! MLB was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Alex Bregman Pop! MLB figure (SKU 50) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new directly from Funko. As a 2020 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning new stock is only available through third-party resellers or the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! vinyl figure primarily involves inspecting the physical figure for defects such as paint errors, seams, or scratches, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body. For the Alex Bregman MLB figure, you should also examine the packaging for any damage, as the box is a critical component of the item's value. While third-party grading services like Beckett exist for vinyl figures, they are not standard practice for most Pop! figures, so most collectors rely on visual inspection and clear photographs to assess condition.
