Common questions about the Alex Morgan Pop! Sports Legends from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Alex Morgan Pop! Sports Legends figure is considered rare. As a standard release in the Sports Legends line, it is generally available through regular retail channels and does not have the limited production numbers associated with exclusive or rare variants.
The value of the Alex Morgan Pop! Sports Legends figure (SKU 07) fluctuates based on market demand and condition, but it typically trades between $10 and $20 for a sealed box. As a standard production item from a popular series, it does not generally command a premium price above its retail value unless it is part of a complete set or has significant collector interest.
To authenticate your Alex Morgan Pop! Sports Legends figure, first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with a legible barcode and the official Funko logo. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, clean seams, and the correct sculpt details specific to the Sports Legends line, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or misaligned parts. You can cross-reference the SKU 07 against official Funko release lists or reputable collector databases to confirm the item's existence and expected specifications. If the figure exhibits significant manufacturing defects or the packaging lacks standard security features, it may be a replica, and consulting a certified authentication service is recommended for a definitive assessment.
Funko does not publicly release specific manufacturing dates for individual Pop! figures, so the exact release date for the Alex Morgan Pop! Sports Legends is not reliably documented. While the figure is part of the Sports Legends line, which has been in production since 2018, precise launch dates for specific player variants are typically not disclosed by the manufacturer.
Funko has discontinued the Alex Morgan Pop! Sports Legends figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. The item is now considered out of print, meaning availability is limited to the secondary market where prices are determined by collectors.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or surface scratches, as well as verifying that the figure is securely seated in its base. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a professional third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the presence of these defects and the overall integrity of the figure. Note that the specific SKU "07" does not correspond to a standard Alex Morgan Pop! release number, so you should verify the exact product ID on the box to ensure you are evaluating the correct item.
