To authenticate your 2018 Alfred Hitchcock Pop! Directors figure, first verify that the box is sealed with the correct Funko branding and that the figure itself has the standard smooth vinyl finish without excessive paint bleed. Check the base of the figure for the embossed "Funko" logo and ensure the eyes are properly aligned, as misalignment is a common sign of counterfeits. Funko has discontinued the Alfred Hitchcock Pop! Directors figure (SKU 624), so it is no longer in print or available for purchase new from the manufacturer. Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, particularly on the face and hands. You should also verify that the figure is properly seated on the base and that the packaging is intact, as the box condition significantly impacts value for sealed items. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the item to a professional third-party grading service, though this is rarely done for standard mass-produced Funko Pops due to the cost relative to the item's value.
