Common questions about the Alien As Buzz Lightyear Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Alien As Buzz Lightyear Pop! (SKU 749) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Alien franchise that was released in 2017 and is widely available in the secondary market. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive variant, its value remains relatively stable and low compared to rarer Funko releases.
The Alien As Buzz Lightyear Pop! Disney (SKU 749) is a standard production item that typically sells for between $8 and $15 in new, sealed condition on the secondary market. Prices fluctuate based on current demand and availability, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate valuation.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Alien As Buzz Lightyear (SKU 749), first examine the box for a clear, undamaged seal and verify that the printed SKU matches the item description. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or off-color plastics. You can also cross-reference the item's appearance against official Funko product images to ensure the character design and accessories align with the genuine release.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for the Alien As Buzz Lightyear Pop! Disney figure (SKU 749). While Funko regularly releases special edition and crossover figures, the exact launch timing for this specific variant is not clearly documented in available records.
Funko has discontinued the Alien As Buzz Lightyear Pop! (SKU 749), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retailers. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface defects such as scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, while also verifying that the head is properly aligned and not tilted. You should examine the packaging for any damage, as a sealed box with a clear window is generally required for high-grade grading. For formal grading, you can submit the item to a third-party service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and box's condition.
