Common questions about the Alien As Dug Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Alien As Dug Pop! Disney (SKU 754) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Disney franchise line, and while specific color variants or exclusions may affect secondary market value, the base item is widely available and not classified as a limited edition.
There is no reliable market data indicating that a "Alien As Dug" Funko Pop! exists, as Dug is a character from the Pixar film *Up* and is not part of the *Alien* franchise. Consequently, it is not possible to provide a valuation for this specific item, as it appears to be a non-existent product or a confusion of two distinct characters.
It is not possible to authenticate a specific Funko Pop! figure as "real" in the sense of verifying its authenticity against a counterfeit, as Funko does not issue certificates of authenticity for standard retail items. You can verify that the item is a genuine product manufactured by Funko by checking for the company logo on the packaging, the "Made in China" or "Made in Vietnam" label on the box, and the presence of the SKU number 754 on the packaging, which corresponds to the Alien As Dug Disney release. If the figure lacks these standard manufacturing marks or the packaging appears significantly off-brand, it may be a third-party reproduction, but without a serial number registry, definitive authentication of individual units is not available.
The Alien As Dug Pop! Disney vinyl figure was released in 2024 as part of the Disney x Alien crossover collection.
Funko has discontinued the Alien As Dug Pop! Disney figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear on the secondary market through resellers, there is no current production run for this specific SKU.
To grade a Funko Pop! figure, you should inspect it for common defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned eyes, and compare it against a known "mint" example to assess its condition. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its physical state. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the process is not necessary if you are simply reselling the figure locally.
