Common questions about the Alien As Zurg Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Alien As Zurg Pop! Vinyl figure (SKU 753) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run for the Disney line. It is a common collectible that is frequently available through major retailers and secondary markets, meaning it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited edition or exclusive variants.
The value of a Funko Pop! Alien As Zurg (SKU 753) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $15 and $30 in retail or secondary markets. As a standard Disney release, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price unless it is part of a complete set or in exceptional sealed condition.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the existence of a specific "Alien As Zurg" Funko Pop! with SKU 753, as this appears to be a conflation of the *Alien* franchise and the *Toy Story* character Zurg. Because the item described does not match standard Funko production records, I cannot provide specific authentication steps for this particular SKU. I recommend verifying the item against official Funko catalog listings or contacting Funko customer service directly to confirm if this is a legitimate release or a mislabeled product.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Funko Pop! figure of Alien as Zurg. While Zurg is a character from the Toy Story franchise and Alien is a separate franchise, there is no verified record of a crossover figure combining these two characters in Funko's official catalog.
Funko has not officially announced the discontinuation of the Alien As Zurg Pop! (SKU 753), so it remains technically in print. However, availability for this specific Disney collaboration figure is often limited and fluctuates, meaning it may not be consistently stocked at major retailers. You should check current inventory on Funko's official website or authorized third-party marketplaces to confirm if it is available to purchase new.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned parts, while also verifying that the original box is free from significant damage, fading, or wear. For formal grading, you can submit the item to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical grade based on its physical condition and packaging integrity. Be aware that the specific SKU 753 does not correspond to a standard "Alien as Zurg" release in Funko's official catalog, so you should verify the exact product identity before pursuing professional grading.
