I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person. For Hot Toys products, you can check for authenticity by inspecting the packaging for high-quality printing, verifying the presence of a valid UPC and manufacturer barcode, and confirming that the figure's sculpting, paint application, and articulation match the official product specifications. I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Hot Toys AMC2 Captain America Artist Mix (SKU 902335) is currently in print or available for purchase as a new item. As a limited edition artist mix figure, it is typically a one-time production run that is often sold out shortly after release.
Grading a Hot Toys 1/6th scale figure like the AMC2 Captain America Artist Mix involves inspecting the sculpt for paint application, checking the joints for wear or stress marks, and verifying that all included accessories and display bases are present and undamaged. Because Hot Toys figures are mass-produced collectibles rather than vintage trading cards, they are typically evaluated based on their original packaging condition and the absence of manufacturing defects rather than a standardized numerical grade. For a formal valuation, you would consult a professional appraiser specializing in modern pop culture collectibles, as major grading services like PSA primarily focus on cards and coins.
