Common questions about the AMC33 Captain America from Hot Toys.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Hot Toys AMC33 Captain America is not considered rare. It is a standard production 1/6th scale figure that was widely distributed through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific variants or limited editions may have lower production numbers, this particular SKU represents a common item in the collectible market.
I cannot provide a reliable current market value for the Hot Toys AMC33 Captain America (SKU 904685) without access to real-time sales data. The value of 1/6th scale figures fluctuates based on condition, box integrity, and regional demand, so I recommend checking recent completed listings on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces for an accurate appraisal.
I cannot determine the authenticity of your specific item without a physical inspection, as I do not have access to your product. To authenticate a Hot Toys figure, verify that the packaging includes a holographic security sticker and a unique serial number, and confirm that the figure's articulation points, paint applications, and accessory quality match the specifications of the official AMC033 release. If the item lacks these standard manufacturing markers or the serial number does not align with Hot Toys' database, it is likely a counterfeit.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Hot Toys AMC33 Captain America figure.
Hot Toys has discontinued the AMC33 Captain America (SKU 904685), meaning it is no longer in production and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. This figure is part of the 1/6th scale Movie Masterpiece line and is currently only available through the secondary market, where prices often exceed the original retail value.
I cannot provide specific grading criteria for this item because I do not have reliable information confirming that Hot Toys manufactures a product with the SKU 904685 or MPN AMC033. These identifiers are typically associated with trading cards, not 1/6th scale action figures, so you should verify the exact product details before attempting to grade it.
