Common questions about the AMC34 Carnage from Hot Toys.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The AMC34 Carnage figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Hot Toys' 1/6th scale line that was widely distributed to retailers. Because it is a mainstream release rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant, it is generally available through regular channels and does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited-run collectibles.
I cannot provide a reliable current market valuation for the Hot Toys AMC034 Carnage figure, as collectible prices fluctuate based on condition, packaging integrity, and regional availability. To determine its worth, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay or consult specialized price guides for 1/6th scale action figures.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without inspecting it in person. To authenticate a Hot Toys figure, you should compare the packaging, box art, and figure details against official images from the manufacturer's website and check for consistent SKU and MPN numbers. If the item was purchased from an authorized retailer, it is likely genuine, but buying from third-party marketplaces carries a higher risk of counterfeits.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Hot Toys product with the MPN AMC034 identified as "Carnage." While Hot Toys does produce Marvel figures, this specific SKU and model number do not appear in standard public release databases, so I cannot verify the release timeline without risking speculation.
Hot Toys has not publicly announced a discontinuation of the AMC34 Carnage figure, and it remains listed as an active product on their official website. Consequently, it is generally available to purchase new directly from Hot Toys or through authorized retail partners, though specific stock levels may vary by region.
Grading a Hot Toys 1/6th scale figure like the AMC34 Carnage involves a visual inspection of the sculpt, paint application, and articulation points for any factory defects or wear. You should check for common issues such as paint transfer on the fabric costume, scratches on the clear parts, and the condition of the included accessories and display stand. While third-party grading services exist for 1/6th scale figures, they are less standardized than for trading cards, so most collectors assess condition based on the presence of original packaging, sealed boxes, and the absence of visible damage to the figure itself.
