Common questions about the Animal Pop! Muppets from Funko (2012).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Animal Pop! Muppets figure is not considered rare. It was part of the initial 2012 Muppets release and was widely distributed, making it a common item in the secondary market. While specific variants like chase editions may be harder to find, the standard SKU 05 is readily available.
The value of a 2012 Animal Pop! Muppets figure (SKU 05) varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in its original box. Generally, loose figures in good condition sell for approximately $5 to $15, while sealed boxes typically range from $15 to $30. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific platform where the item is listed.
It is not possible to authenticate a Funko Pop! figure from 2012 because the Funko Pop! product line was not launched until 2015. Consequently, an "Animal Pop! Muppets" figure with a 2012 date and SKU 05 is not a genuine item from that manufacturer, as the brand did not exist at that time.
The Animal Pop! Muppets was released in 2012 by Funko.
The Animal Pop! Muppets figure from the 2012 release is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a discontinued item from over a decade ago, it can only be purchased through the secondary market, such as resale platforms or collector communities.
It is important to clarify that Funko did not release a "Pop! Muppets" line in 2012, as the brand was founded in 2015 and its first Muppets figures were released in 2017. Consequently, there is no 2012 SKU 05 item for this specific franchise, making it impossible to provide grading criteria for a non-existent product. If you are holding a Muppets figure, verify the manufacturing date on the box or check the specific release year of the character to ensure you are evaluating the correct item.
