No, the Animal Pop! Muppets figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2024 Muppets line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces.
The retail price for the 2024 Funko Pop! Muppets Animal figure (SKU 13) is typically around $12.99. Its current market value fluctuates based on condition and demand, but unopened copies generally trade near retail price, while opened figures may sell for less.
To authenticate your 2024 Animal Pop! Muppets figure, verify that the packaging features the official Funko logo, a barcode, and a holographic sticker, and ensure the box is sealed with the standard shrink wrap. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct "Funko" branding on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit blurry printing, uneven seams, or missing logos. If the figure lacks these specific manufacturing markers or the packaging appears tampered with, it is likely a replica.
The Animal Pop! Muppets was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko Pop! figures are generally produced on a limited run basis and are not permanently in print. While the Animal Muppets figure (SKU 13) may have been available new in 2024, current availability depends on specific retailer stock, and it is likely that the item is now sold out at major retailers. To find a new copy, you would typically need to check secondary marketplaces like eBay or Amazon, where prices may vary significantly from the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! Muppets figure involves inspecting the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, particularly on the head and hands. Verify that the figure is securely seated on the base without any gaps or wobble, and ensure the packaging is intact if you are evaluating the item as sealed. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the figure to a third-party grading service, though this is rarely done for standard retail releases.
