Common questions about the Anthea Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Anthea Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2023. Like most standard Funko Pop! releases, it was widely distributed to retailers and is generally easy to find in new condition.
The Anthea Pop! Movie (SKU 1285) is a standard retail release from 2023, and its value is typically determined by current market demand rather than a fixed appraised price. In new, sealed condition, these figures generally trade at or near their original retail price, while used copies are worth less depending on their cosmetic condition. For the most accurate and up-to-date valuation, you should check recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay or StockX.
Authenticating a Funko Pop! requires examining the physical details, as there is no digital verification system for standard vinyl figures. Check the base for a clean, centered logo and ensure the paint application is sharp without significant bleeding, as counterfeits often have sloppy detailing. Verify that the SKU 1285 and copyright date on the packaging match the official 2023 release records, and inspect the vinyl for the characteristic smooth, slightly matte finish typical of genuine Funko products. If the figure feels unusually light, has a strong chemical smell, or the packaging printing is blurry, it is likely a counterfeit.

The Anthea Pop! Movies vinyl figure (SKU 1285) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. This item was released as part of a limited movie tie-in series and has since been discontinued, meaning it can only be purchased on the secondary market.
There is no standardized third-party grading service specifically for individual Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, and mold lines. Check the box for any damage, dents, or wear, as the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. If the figure is in its original, unopened box, it is generally considered to be in Mint condition, while any opened or damaged items will have a lower market value.
