The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Apollo Creed Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2022 release wave and was widely distributed through major retail channels. While specific color variants or limited editions might be harder to find, the standard SKU 1178 figure remains easily accessible on the secondary market.
The value of the 2022 Apollo Creed Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1178) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $15 in retail condition. Prices for sealed figures may be slightly higher, while open figures with visible wear often sell for less. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2022 Apollo Creed Pop! Movies (SKU 1178), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself is made of vinyl with the correct paint application and proportions. Check the base of the figure for the embossed "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging includes the standard copyright and manufacturing details. If the figure appears to be made of plastic, has a rough texture, or lacks the specific paint details of the official release, it is likely a counterfeit. For definitive confirmation, you can compare your item against high-resolution images of the authentic SKU 1178 on Funko's official website or consult a certified authentication service.

Funko does not publicly disclose specific print run end dates or real-time inventory status for individual SKUs, so I cannot confirm with certainty if this specific 2022 release is currently in print. You should check the official Funko website or authorized retailers for current stock availability, as older movie figures are frequently discontinued and may only be available through the secondary market.
To condition-check a Funko Pop! figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the face and hands where defects are most common. Verify that the figure is securely seated in the base and that the packaging, if present, is free from tears, creases, or fading. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the figure to a third-party grading service, though this is rarely done for standard retail items due to the cost relative to the figure's value.
