No, the Apprentice Mickey Pop! (SKU 426) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the Disney franchise that has been widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific color variants or exclusive releases can be harder to find, the standard version of this figure is a common collectible.
The Apprentice Mickey Pop! (SKU 426) is a standard production item that typically retails for between $10 and $15. Its value on the secondary market generally hovers around retail price, with sealed figures occasionally selling for a slight premium depending on local demand. There is no significant collector markup for this specific variant compared to other common Disney Pop! figures.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! figure, first verify that the box is sealed with the correct SKU number 426 and that the figure inside matches the official product images for the Apprentice Mickey design. Inspect the physical figure for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy paint jobs, misaligned eyes, or missing branding. If the packaging appears damaged or the figure has significant defects, compare it against verified examples from reputable collectors or check the serial number on the box against Funko's official records if available.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Apprentice Mickey Pop! (SKU 426). While this figure is part of the Disney+ collection, Funko does not always publish precise launch dates for individual SKUs in public records, so I cannot provide a verified release date without speculating.
Funko has discontinued the Apprentice Mickey Pop! (SKU 426), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear as new stock on third-party resale platforms, it is generally considered out of production and is primarily available through the secondary market.
To condition-check a Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold seams, and verify that the eyes and mouth are properly aligned and free of smudges. Examine the box for any signs of wear, such as creases, dents, or price stickers, as these significantly impact the item's value if it is intended to be sold as sealed. If you are looking for a professional grade, you must submit the sealed box to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on the box's structural integrity and visual condition.
