The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Ariel and Eric Statue Pop! (SKU 1169) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2022. Like most standard edition Funko Pops, it was widely available through major retailers and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The Ariel and Eric Statue Pop! Disney (SKU 1169) is a standard retail collectible that typically sells for around its original retail price of $12.99 to $15.00 in new, sealed condition. Because it is a common item from a major 2022 release, it does not command a premium in the secondary market, and open figures generally have little to no resale value.
To authenticate your 2022 Ariel and Eric Statue Pop! (SKU 1169), first verify that the packaging is a standard Funko box with the correct copyright dates and that the vinyl figure is solid, well-painted, and free of the rough seams or "flash" common in counterfeits. Check the bottom of the figure for a clear, molded "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number, as fakes often have blurry or missing markings. While there is no single definitive test, comparing the proportions and paint quality against official Funko product images or consulting a certified appraiser can help confirm its legitimacy.
The Ariel and Eric Statue Pop! Disney was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko Pop! figures are generally produced in limited runs and are not kept in continuous print, so the 2022 Ariel and Eric Statue Pop! (SKU 1169) is likely no longer available to buy new from official retailers. While specific production status can fluctuate, this item is typically considered out of print, meaning new copies are rarely found and most availability is through the secondary market.
To condition-check a Funko Pop! statue, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections and verify that the figure is securely seated on its base without wobble. Examine the packaging for any creases, tears, or signs of tampering, as the box condition significantly impacts the item's value. If you are seeking a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service, though this is less common for standard vinyl figures than for trading cards.
