Common questions about the Ariel & Ursula Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Ariel & Ursula Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's regular Disney line. These figures are widely available through major retailers and Funko's own distribution channels, meaning they do not carry the scarcity value associated with limited editions, exclusive releases, or discontinued variants.
The Ariel & Ursula Pop! Disney figure typically sells for between $10 and $15 when new in box, which is close to its original retail price. Because this is a standard, mass-produced release rather than a limited edition, it does not generally carry a significant premium in the secondary market. Its value is primarily determined by its condition and the presence of the original packaging.
To authenticate your Ariel & Ursula Pop! vinyl figure, first inspect the packaging for a genuine Funko logo, a scannable QR code, and a barcode that matches the item on the Funko website. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct "Funko" logo on the base, as counterfeit versions often feature blurry printing, misaligned eyes, or poor paint coverage. If the item lacks a holographic sticker or the packaging feels flimsy compared to official retail standards, it is likely a replica.
The Ariel & Ursula Pop! Disney vinyl figure was released in 2023. It is part of the Disney Princess collection and features the two characters from *The Little Mermaid* in a single two-pack figure.
The Ariel & Ursula Pop! Disney figure is no longer in print and is not currently available for purchase new from Funko or major retail partners. It is a discontinued item that can only be found through the secondary market, such as eBay, Amazon, or other collectibles resellers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
There is no official grading service for standard Funko Pop! vinyl figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade like you would for trading cards or action figures. To condition-check the item, inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verify that the eyes are intact and properly aligned. Additionally, examine the box for any dents, tears, or fading, as the packaging condition significantly impacts the item's value for collectors.
