Common questions about the Art3mis Pop! Movies from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Art3mis Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2018 to coincide with the film's theatrical release, meaning it was widely available through major retailers and has not been discontinued. While specific color variants or limited editions may be harder to find, the standard SKU 497 figure remains common in the secondary market.
The value of the Funko Pop! Art3mis (SKU 497) varies significantly based on condition and whether it is in the box. Generally, a new-in-box figure from this 2018 release typically sells for between $10 and $20, while a loose figure usually commands a lower price, often under $10. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific condition of the item.
To authenticate your Art3mis Pop! Movies figure (SKU 497), first verify that the packaging is intact and features the correct Funko branding, the "Movies" series logo, and the specific character name. Inspect the figure itself for high-quality paint application, consistent proportions, and the standard Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often exhibit poor paint jobs, misaligned parts, or missing logos. While there is no unique serial number system for standard retail figures, comparing the item side-by-side with high-resolution images of the authentic 2018 release from reputable collector communities can help identify subtle manufacturing discrepancies. If the figure and box appear consistent with known authentic examples, it is likely genuine, but significant deviations in weight, texture, or packaging materials should raise suspicion.

The Art3mis Pop! Movies figure (SKU 497) is discontinued and no longer in print. It is not available to buy new directly from Funko, so collectors must seek out used copies or third-party resellers for this specific item.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or scratches, as well as verifying that the eyes are properly aligned and the figure stands upright without excessive wobble. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a professional third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the item and assign a numerical score based on its overall cosmetic condition. Note that grading is a paid service and does not guarantee an increase in market value, so it is often recommended only for figures in near-mint condition.
