Common questions about the Aurora & Maleficent Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Aurora & Maleficent Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's Disney line that was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive release, its common availability means it does not carry a premium value compared to rarer variants.
The value of the Aurora & Maleficent Pop! Disney figure depends heavily on its condition and packaging, with sealed copies typically commanding a premium over loose ones. As a standard retail release, it generally trades for around its original retail price or slightly below on the secondary market, though specific variations or limited editions may fetch higher amounts. I cannot provide a precise current market valuation without real-time access to live sales data from platforms like eBay or StockX.
To authenticate your Aurora & Maleficent Pop! Disney figure, first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct Funko logo and product number, as unboxing can make verification significantly harder. Inspect the figure itself for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct Funko branding on the base, noting that counterfeit items often feature blurry logos, uneven paint, or plastic that feels lighter than the original. You can cross-reference the specific product number on the box with official Funko listings to ensure the character design and color scheme match the genuine release. If the packaging is missing or the figure exhibits obvious manufacturing defects, consider consulting a certified authentication service for a definitive assessment.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a standard Funko Pop! Disney figure featuring both Aurora and Maleficent together in a single box. While Funko has released individual figures of both characters and various multi-pack sets, a dedicated dual-character release with this specific title is not widely documented in standard production records.
The Aurora & Maleficent Pop! Disney figure is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko or major retail partners. It is currently a discontinued item, meaning new stock is only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices may fluctuate based on condition and demand.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, and molding defects. Pay close attention to the eyes, which are prone to chipping, and check the box for any signs of damage, as the packaging is often a significant factor in value. If the figure is in pristine, unopened condition, it is generally considered to be in "Mint" or "Sealed" condition, which is the highest tier for resale.
