No, the Axl Rose (Skeleton) Pop! Rocks is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2024 and is widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces.
The Axl Rose (Skeleton) Pop! Rocks is a standard retail collectible released in 2024, and its value is generally anchored to its original retail price of approximately $4.99 to $6.99. Because it is a common, non-exclusive item from a recent release year, it typically does not command a premium in the secondary market and is often sold at or near its original retail cost.
To authenticate your Axl Rose (Skeleton) Pop! Rocks, first verify that the product is sold in a standard sealed blind bag, as Funko does not typically release these items in individually boxed packaging. Check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and ensure the plastic has the characteristic glossy finish and weight associated with the Pop! Rocks line. You can also cross-reference the SKU 401 with Funko’s official catalog or reputable collector databases to confirm that this specific character and colorway was part of the 2024 release. If the packaging is missing, the logo is blurry, or the figure feels significantly lighter than expected, it may be a counterfeit.
The Axl Rose (Skeleton) Pop! Rocks was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko Pop! Rocks are generally produced in limited quantities and are not typically kept in continuous print like standard vinyl Pop! figures. While specific availability for the 2024 Axl Rose (Skeleton) release can fluctuate, it is likely sold out at major retailers and should be sought through secondary markets such as eBay or Funko's own resale platform if it is no longer in stock.
Pop! Rocks figures are generally not graded by major third-party authentication services like PSA or Beckett, as they are considered mass-produced novelty items rather than collectible trading cards or high-value action figures. To check the condition, you should visually inspect the figure for common defects such as paint chips, scratches, or misaligned parts, and verify that the skeleton accessory is intact and securely attached. Since these items are typically sold in sealed blind bags, the condition is largely determined by the initial manufacturing quality and how the item has been handled since purchase.
