To authenticate your LEGO B-Wing Starfighter (set 10227), first verify that the box and plastic pieces display the LEGO logo and the set number 10227. Check that the packaging is intact with the correct 2012 release date and that the included instruction manual matches the set. If the set was purchased from a reputable retailer or has a verifiable purchase history, it is likely authentic, but inspecting the quality of the plastic and the presence of the LEGO logo on the box and pieces provides the most reliable confirmation.
