Common questions about the Baby Pop! Movies from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Baby Pop! Movies line is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-produced release by Funko in 2018. These figures were widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces during that period. Consequently, they are generally easy to find and do not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited-edition or discontinued exclusive items.
The value of a Baby Pop! Movies figure (SKU 594) varies significantly based on the specific movie character, condition, and whether it is in the original packaging. Generally, unopened figures from this 2018 line typically sell for between $5 and $15 on the secondary market, while opened figures are worth considerably less. Prices for rare characters or limited editions may exceed this range, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is the most accurate way to determine the current market value for a specific item.
To authenticate a 2018 Funko Baby Pop! Movies figure (SKU 594), first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct product name, character, and year printed on the front. Examine the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, proper proportions relative to the standard Pop! size, and the distinct "Baby" design features, such as the oversized head and simplified facial details. Check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible copyright stamp that reads "© Funko" along with the year and character name, as missing or blurry stamps are common indicators of counterfeits. If the box is damaged or the figure exhibits poor molding, uneven seams, or off-color paint, it is likely a replica, and you should compare it side-by-side with verified images from Funko's official catalog.

The Baby Pop! Movies series is no longer in print, as Funko has discontinued production of this specific line. Consequently, new stock is no longer available through official retail channels, and collectors must seek out unopened figures on the secondary market.
Grading a Baby Pop! Vinyl figure involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, as these are the primary factors affecting condition. You should also verify that the figure is complete with all original accessories and that the packaging is intact, since sealed boxes command higher value. While professional grading services like PSA or Beckett can assign a numerical grade, most collectors assess these items visually by checking for "mint" versus "near-mint" condition, noting that Baby Pops are generally more prone to minor cosmetic flaws than standard-sized Pops due to their smaller size.
