Common questions about the Band Leader Mickey Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Band Leader Mickey Pop! (SKU 430) is not considered a rare item. It is a standard production figure from Funko’s mainline Disney collection, which means it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The retail value of the Band Leader Mickey Pop! Disney (SKU 430) is typically around $12.99. As a standard mass-produced vinyl figure, its secondary market value generally fluctuates between $10 and $15, depending on current demand and condition. Prices may vary slightly based on regional availability and whether the item is new in box.
To authenticate a Funko Pop!, verify that the packaging includes a holographic sticker on the bottom of the box and that the figure itself has the correct weight and paint application for the specific SKU. Check that the "Funko" logo is embossed on the base of the figure and that the eyes are properly aligned and glossy. If the paint is chipped, the box lacks security features, or the figure feels significantly lighter than expected, it is likely a counterfeit.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific release dates for individual Pop! Vinyl figures, so the exact launch date for the Band Leader Mickey (SKU 430) is not reliably documented. While this figure is part of the Disney Pop! line, precise release timelines for specific SKUs are typically not published by the manufacturer.
Funko has discontinued the Band Leader Mickey Pop! (SKU 430), so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. This figure is part of the retired "Mickey's 90th Anniversary" series, meaning any available units are second-hand items found on the secondary market.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain an official numerical grade for this item. To assess its condition, you should inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, while also checking the acrylic display case for cracks, cloudiness, or damage to the base. Additionally, verify that the figure is securely seated in the stand and that the packaging is intact if you are evaluating it as a sealed collectible.
