Common questions about the Baptiste Pop! Games from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Baptiste Pop! Games figure (SKU 559) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the Overwatch line that was widely available for purchase through major retailers and Funko's own store. Because it was produced in large quantities and is not a limited edition, exclusive, or discontinued variant, it is generally easy to find in new condition on the secondary market.
The retail value of a new, sealed Funko Pop! Baptiste #559 typically ranges from $10 to $15, which is standard for most regular-sized figures from this era. Because this is a common, non-exclusive release, it does not command a premium in the secondary market, and used copies generally sell for less than the original retail price.
To authenticate your Baptiste Pop! Games figure (SKU 559), first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct Funko branding and that the figure itself matches the official product images in terms of paint application, sculpt details, and proportions. Check the base of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, which should align with the release window for this specific SKU. If the vinyl feels unusually soft, the paint is chipped or uneven, or the box lacks standard security features like holographic stickers, the item may be a counterfeit. For definitive confirmation, compare your figure side-by-side with high-resolution images from Funko’s official website or consult a professional authentication service.
The Baptiste Pop! Games figure (SKU 559) was released in 2018. It is part of the League of Legends series and was made available to the public in the fourth quarter of that year.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Baptiste Pop! Games (SKU 559) is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. This figure, released in 2017 as part of the Overwatch line, is generally considered out of production, meaning it is typically only available through the secondary market.
To condition-check a Funko Pop! figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or discoloration, and verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of cloudiness. Examine the packaging for any dents, tears, or signs of tampering, as the box is a significant component of the item's value. If you are seeking a professional grade for resale purposes, you must submit the unopened figure to a third-party grading service, as opening the box will permanently reduce its collectible value.
