Common questions about the Batman Forever Pop! Heroes from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Batman Forever Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 289) is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released in 2019. It is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, meaning it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited editions or exclusive variants.
The value of the 2019 Batman Forever Pop! Heroes (SKU 289) fluctuates based on market demand and condition, but it typically sells for between $10 and $20 in retail stores. On the secondary market, sealed figures generally range from $15 to $25, while unsealed figures often trade for $8 to $15. Prices can spike during specific collector trends or if the item becomes out of print, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current valuation.
To authenticate a Batman Forever Pop! Heroes figure, first verify that the SKU 289 is printed on the box and that the figure matches the official 2019 release specifications, including the correct color scheme and sculpt details. Check the packaging for the official Funko logo, a barcode, and a holographic sticker, as the absence of these elements or poor print quality suggests a counterfeit. Additionally, inspect the vinyl for sharp edges and consistent paint application, as genuine Funko products typically have a smooth finish without significant seams or overspray. If the figure appears significantly off in proportion or detail compared to verified images of the authentic product, it is likely a fake.
The Batman Forever Pop! Heroes was released in 2019 by Funko.
The Batman Forever Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 289) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It was part of a limited 2019 release, so any new copies currently on the market are likely resealed used items or counterfeits.
To condition-check a Batman Forever Pop! Heroes figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, paying close attention to the head, hands, and cape. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of bubbles, and ensure the base is clean and undamaged. For a formal grade, submit the figure to a third-party grading service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on these visual factors.
