No, the Batman Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 204) is not considered rare. It was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2017 lineup, making it widely available in retail stores and through secondary markets. While specific variants like chases or limited editions may be harder to find, the standard version is a common collectible item.
The value of the 2017 Batman Pop! Heroes (SKU 204) varies significantly based on condition and market demand, typically ranging from $15 to $30 for a sealed figure in good condition. Prices for open figures are generally lower, often falling between $10 and $20, while rare color variants or special editions may command higher premiums. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2017 Batman Pop! (SKU 204), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko logo and that the figure itself has the correct proportions and paint application for that specific release. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright date and the SKU number, which should match the 2017 production window. Be aware that the "Heroes" branding was not used on standard 2017 Batman figures, so if your box explicitly says "Heroes," it may be a mislabeled or counterfeit item, as that line typically refers to a different product category. For definitive confirmation, compare your item against high-resolution images of verified authentic examples from reputable collector communities or contact Funko customer service directly.

There is no official grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so you should assess the condition yourself by inspecting the vinyl for paint chips, scratches, or mold lines and ensuring the figure is securely seated in its base. Verify that the original box is intact, free of significant wear or damage, and that the window is clear without cracks. If you are looking for a certified valuation, note that major third-party grading companies like PSA do not typically grade standard vinyl collectibles, making market value estimates based on current sold listings the most reliable method.
