Mondo is a prolific publisher that releases hundreds of posters annually, so individual titles like the Battle Cat are generally not considered rare in the broader market. However, specific print runs can vary, and limited editions or early releases may command higher prices due to lower availability. To determine if your specific copy is rare, you would need to check the exact print run number and edition details on the poster or its packaging.

Mondo is a well-established, reputable manufacturer of art prints, so a Battle Cat print from 2023 is likely authentic if purchased from an authorized retailer or directly from Mondo. To authenticate it, check for the official Mondo logo, a unique serial number, and a certificate of authenticity, and verify the paper quality and print details against known genuine examples. If the item lacks these markers or was bought from an unverified third-party seller, consider having it appraised by a Mondo-authorized dealer or a professional print authenticator.

Mondo prints are typically ungraded, so condition checking is done visually by the owner rather than through a professional grading service. Inspect the print for common flaws such as creases, edge wear, or discoloration, and verify that the paper is flat and free of major defects. Since Mondo does not issue certificates of authenticity for most of its standard prints, you should compare the item against known authentic examples to confirm the paper stock, ink quality, and registration.
