Sideshow Collectibles produced the Battle Droids (Infantry) as part of their 2012 Star Wars: The Clone Wars series, which was a standard retail release rather than a limited edition. Because it was widely distributed through major retailers and not produced in a restricted quantity, it is not considered rare in the current collectibles market.

Sideshow Collectibles did not produce a product line specifically titled "Battle Droids (Infantry)" in 2012, as their Star Wars releases during that period were primarily focused on 1/6th scale figures and 1/4th scale statues of characters rather than mass-produced infantry droid sets. It is likely that the item in question is a mislabeled third-party product, a generic toy, or a confusion with a different manufacturer's release, meaning there is no official Sideshow authentication protocol for this specific item. To verify authenticity, you should examine the packaging for Sideshow's distinct logo and product numbering, check the sculpt quality and paint application against known Sideshow standards, and consult with a certified appraiser or Sideshow's customer service directly if you possess a physical item claiming to be from their catalog.

The Sideshow Collectibles Battle Droids (Infantry) figure from 2012 is out of print and is no longer available to purchase new from the manufacturer. This item is part of a limited production run and is now only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms or private collectors.
Sideshow Collectibles does not issue official grading certificates for their action figures, so there is no standardized numerical grade for this item. To assess its condition, inspect the droid for common wear points such as paint loss on the limbs, chipped plastic on the joints, and discoloration of the fabric uniforms. You should also verify that the included accessories, such as the blaster and stand, are present and free from significant damage, as these factors significantly impact the item's value in the secondary market.
