To condition-check a Funko Pop! figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the cardigan texture and the character's face. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of smudges, and ensure the figure stands upright without wobbling. If the item is in its original box, check for creases, tears, or "shelf wear" on the corners and edges, as these significantly impact the grade. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service, though most collectors simply assess the condition visually against standard categories like Mint, Near Mint, or Good.
