No, the Beetlejuice Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1010) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2020 and was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific variants like chases or limited editions may be harder to find, the base figure remains a common collectible.
The retail price for the 2020 Beetlejuice Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1010) was typically around $12.99. As a common mass-produced item from a major release, its current market value for new-in-box copies generally hovers near or slightly below that original retail price, while used copies are often worth less. Specific value can vary based on condition and local demand, so checking recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces is recommended for an accurate current estimate.
To authenticate your 2020 Beetlejuice Pop! (SKU 1010), first verify that the figure is approximately 3.75 inches tall and that the box features the correct "Pop! Movies" logo and the specific 2020 release date. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year 2020, as genuine Funko products from this era typically include this marking. Additionally, examine the paint application and plastic quality; authentic figures have consistent paint lines and a solid, uniform plastic finish, whereas counterfeits often exhibit sloppy painting, uneven seams, or a lighter, more brittle plastic feel.

Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, as well as verifying that the eyes are properly aligned and free of defects. You should also examine the box for any dents, tears, or fading, since the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service, but most collectors simply assess the condition visually to determine if it is mint, near-mint, or used.
