The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Beetlejuice Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the widely distributed Pop! Movies line, and because it was released in 2020, it remains readily available in retail stores and online marketplaces. Collectors generally do not assign a premium value to this specific SKU due to its high production volume and continued accessibility.
The standard retail price for the 2020 Beetlejuice Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1005) is typically between $10 and $15. As a common release from a major franchise, its secondary market value generally remains close to retail, often selling for $10 to $12 in new condition. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on current stock availability and seller fees, but it is not considered a rare or high-value collectible.
To authenticate your 2020 Beetlejuice Pop! (SKU 1005), first verify that the box is sealed with a tamper-evident sticker and that the figure inside matches the official Funko product images for that specific release. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper joint articulation, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, uneven seams, or missing details. If the packaging is damaged or the figure appears off, you can cross-reference the SKU on the official Funko website or consult a reputable authentication service for a definitive verification.
The Beetlejuice Pop! Movies was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Beetlejuice Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1005) is currently out of print and is no longer available to purchase new directly from Funko. Because it was released in 2020 and has since been discontinued, collectors typically must seek out used copies on secondary markets such as eBay or local toy shops.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, while also verifying that the box is free from significant wear, creases, or damage. For a formal grade, you should submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and box's preservation. Note that the specific SKU 1005 corresponds to the 2019 release of the Beetlejuice Pop!, not a 2020 version, so you should verify the production year on the box before grading.
