Common questions about the Big Bird In Nest Pop! Television from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Big Bird In Nest Pop! Television is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko’s 2024 Sesame Street television line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers. Collectors generally do not assign scarcity value to this specific SKU, as it is a common release rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The retail price for the 2024 Big Bird In Nest Pop! Television (SKU 1612) is typically around $19.99 to $24.99 USD. Because this is a recent release, its secondary market value generally hovers near or slightly above the original retail price, depending on current local stock availability.
To authenticate your 2024 Big Bird In Nest Pop! Television, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo, the Sesame Street trademark, and the specific SKU number 1612. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a smooth finish, as counterfeits often exhibit sloppy paint lines or misaligned parts. Additionally, check that the packaging is a standard Funko Pop! window box with a clear plastic window and a cardboard backer, rather than a generic or poorly printed box. If the item lacks these specific manufacturing details or the box appears to be a reproduction, it is likely not an authentic Funko product.

Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, misaligned eyes, or seam lines, as well as checking the plastic packaging for dents, scratches, or tears. For the Big Bird In Nest Television model, pay specific attention to the nest accessory and the TV frame, as these components are prone to chipping or discoloration. If you are seeking a professional grade for resale, submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a score based on the figure's visual integrity and the condition of its original packaging.
