Common questions about the Billy Butcher Pop! Television from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Billy Butcher Pop! Television (SKU 977) is not considered rare. It was a standard mass-production release from 2020 and was widely available in retail stores and online marketplaces. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and demand, it is a common collectible item rather than a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The Billy Butcher Pop! Television (SKU 977) typically retails for approximately $12.99, which serves as the baseline for its value. Because this is a standard production figure from 2020, its market value generally remains at or near retail price unless it is sealed in a box, in which case it may command a slight premium. Prices fluctuate based on current demand and condition, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is the most accurate way to determine its specific worth.
To authenticate your Billy Butcher Pop! Television (SKU 977), first verify that the box features the correct Funko branding, the specific SKU number, and a holographic sticker, which are standard for 2020 releases. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper articulation, and the absence of mold lines or off-color plastic, as counterfeit figures often exhibit sloppy detailing. You can also cross-reference the item against official Funko product images and check the packaging for the correct copyright dates and manufacturer information. If the item lacks these specific identifiers or appears poorly made, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Billy Butcher Pop! Television was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Billy Butcher Pop! Television figure (SKU 977), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official channels. While the item may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, these listings typically represent used or open-box inventory rather than new stock.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for paint defects, such as smudges or missing details, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body without gaps. You should also examine the box for any damage, creases, or discoloration, as the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the sealed item to a professional grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of both the figure and the box.
