No, the Black Lantern Flash Pop! Vinyl figure is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released in 2015 as part of the DC Comics Black Lantern event line, and it was widely available through major retail channels. Because of its broad distribution and the large number of units manufactured, it is generally easy to find in new or used condition.
The Black Lantern Flash Pop! Vinyl Figure (SKU 68) is a common 2015 release that typically retails for under $10 in new condition. Because it was part of a large, widely distributed Black Lantern series, it does not carry a significant premium over its original retail price. You can generally find this figure for a few dollars on secondary markets, with value largely dependent on whether it is still sealed in its original box.
To authenticate your Black Lantern Flash Pop! figure, examine the paint quality, ensuring the black and red colors are vibrant and free of bleeding or excessive overflow. Check the seams for sharpness and verify that the eyes are properly aligned and glossy, as poor molding is a common indicator of counterfeits. You should also inspect the base for a clear, legible Funko logo and confirm that the figure's proportions match the official 2015 release specifications. If the figure feels unusually light or the plastic has a rough texture, it is likely a replica.
The Black Lantern Flash Pop! Heroes was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Black Lantern Flash Pop! Heroes figure is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2015 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning any new stock would have to be sourced from third-party resellers or secondary markets.
To condition-check a Black Lantern Flash Pop! Heroes, inspect the vinyl for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the high-stress areas like the hands, boots, and the tip of the lightning bolt. Verify that the figure is securely attached to the base and that the packaging, if present, is free from significant tears, creases, or water damage. While third-party grading services like PSA can provide a standardized condition score, most collectors assess these items visually for flaws that would lower their value.
