Common questions about the Bo Peep Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Bo Peep Pop! Disney (SKU 517) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the mainline Disney line and was widely available in retail stores and online. While specific variants like Chase figures are rare, the standard version is a common collectible.
The value of a Funko Pop! Bo Peep (SKU 517) varies significantly based on condition, with sealed figures typically selling for between $10 and $20 in the current secondary market. Opened figures in good condition generally command a lower price, often ranging from $5 to $10. Prices can fluctuate based on local demand and whether the figure is part of a specific collection set, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current valuation.
To authenticate your Bo Peep Pop! Disney (SKU 517), verify that the box features the official Funko logo and that the vinyl figure has the characteristic smooth, matte finish with clean, sharp paint lines. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging includes the correct SKU number and a holographic security sticker, which are standard for genuine releases. If the paint is chipped, the vinyl feels rough, or the box lacks these specific identifiers, the item is likely a counterfeit.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific release dates for individual Pop! figures in their official records, so the exact launch date for the Bo Peep Pop! (SKU 517) is not reliably documented. While this figure is part of the standard Disney line and is widely available in retail stores, precise historical release timing is not confirmed by the manufacturer.
Funko has discontinued the Bo Peep Pop! (SKU 517), so it is no longer in print or available for purchase new from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, you should expect to pay a premium over the original retail price due to its out-of-print status.
To condition-check a Bo Peep Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl surface for any cracks, scratches, or paint chips, paying close attention to the high-impact areas like the chin, hands, and the tip of the shepherd's crook. Verify that the eyes are intact and free of clouding, and ensure the figure stands upright without wobbling, which can indicate a loose joint or base damage. Additionally, check the packaging for any dents, tears, or signs of tampering, as the original box condition significantly impacts the item's value.
