No, this figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the Disney Pop! line that was widely available for purchase in retail stores and online. While specific variants like chases or limited editions can be harder to find, the standard SKU 524 is a common collectible.
The retail value for the Bo Peep w/ Officer Giggle McDimples Funko Pop! (SKU 524) is typically around $12.99 to $14.99 for a new, sealed figure. As a standard Disney release, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, with used copies often selling for less than the original retail price.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Bo Peep w/ Officer Giggle McDimples (SKU 524), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the product code on the box matches the number on the base of the figure. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp details, and a smooth, glossy finish, as counterfeit items often feature dull colors, misaligned eyes, or rough seams. You can also cross-reference the SKU and packaging design against Funko’s official product listings or reputable collector databases to confirm the item’s legitimacy.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific release dates for individual Pop! Vinyl figures in their official documentation. While the item is part of the Disney Toy Story collection, exact launch timing for SKU 524 is not reliably available in standard manufacturer records.
Funko has discontinued the Bo Peep w/ Officer Giggle McDimples Pop! Disney figure, meaning it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from the manufacturer. This specific SKU is now considered a retired item, and any remaining stock is typically found only through third-party resellers or the secondary market.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so condition is typically assessed by the seller or buyer based on visual inspection. You should examine the figure for common defects such as paint transfer, scratches, missing accessories, or "seam lines" on the vinyl, and verify that the window is free of cracks or cloudiness. For this specific SKU, pay close attention to the integrity of Officer Giggle McDimples' small parts and the alignment of Bo Peep's hair and dress, as these areas are prone to damage.
