Common questions about the Brixton Pop! Movies from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Brixton Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2020 lineup, meaning it was widely available through major retailers and is generally easy to find in new condition today.
The Brixton Pop! Movies figure (SKU 922) is a standard retail item that typically sells for between $5 and $10 in new, sealed condition on the secondary market. Because it is a common release from 2020, it does not command a premium price, and its value generally remains at or below its original retail cost.
To authenticate your Brixton Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct Funko logo and the SKU number 922 printed on the side. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the standard Funko branding on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry logos, off-center eyes, or poor paint quality. You can also cross-reference the box art and product details against official Funko listings to ensure the design matches the 2020 release specifications.
The Brixton Pop! Movies was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Brixton Pop! Movies vinyl figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. Collectors seeking this item must look to the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices typically exceed the original retail value.
Condition-checking a Brixton Pop! Vinyl involves inspecting the figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, misaligned eyes, or seam lines, as well as checking the box for shelf wear, dents, or fading. Since these figures are typically sold in sealed boxes, the primary grading metric for resale is the condition of the packaging, with mint, unopened boxes commanding the highest value. There is no standardized third-party grading service specifically for individual Funko Pop figures, so value is determined by the box condition and the rarity of the specific SKU.
