No, the Buddy Elf (with Baby) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It was part of the standard Funko Pop! Because it was a mass-produced item from a popular franchise, it remains common in the secondary market.
The retail value for a new, sealed Funko Pop! Buddy Elf (with Baby) #639 is typically around $10 to $15. Because this figure was released in 2018 and is not considered a rare or limited edition item, its secondary market value generally remains at or below its original retail price. Prices for used or open-box copies are usually lower, often ranging between $5 and $10 depending on the condition of the figure and packaging.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Buddy Elf (with Baby) #639, first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the product number matches the SKU. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct "F" logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor articulation. You can also cross-reference the packaging design and barcode against the official Funko website or reputable collector databases to confirm the item's authenticity.

To grade a Buddy Elf (with Baby) Pop! Movies, inspect the vinyl for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the seams and the smaller Baby Elf figure which is more prone to damage. Check that the eyes are intact and the paint is not smudged, as these figures are often graded on a scale from 1 to 10 based on overall cosmetic condition. While professional grading services exist, most collectors assess these items visually for "mint" versus "played" condition, noting that the 2018 release year does not inherently affect the grading criteria.
