The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Butch T. Cougar Pop! College figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released by Funko in 2021. While specific production numbers for this SKU are not publicly disclosed by the manufacturer, the item is widely available through secondary markets and does not possess the scarcity factors typically associated with limited edition or exclusive releases.
The value of the 2021 Funko Pop! College Butch T. Cougar (SKU 19) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $25 for a new, sealed figure. Used copies in good condition generally trade for slightly less, often in the $8 to $15 range. Prices can spike above $30 if the item is part of a complete set or if the specific university series experiences a surge in collector interest.
Funko Pop! figures do not come with individual certificates of authenticity, so verifying a specific unit relies on visual inspection rather than documentation. To authenticate your 2021 Butch T. Cougar figure, check that the packaging is a standard Funko box with the correct SKU (19) and that the figure itself has clean paint, sharp edges, and the correct color scheme for the character. If the figure appears mass-produced with typical minor manufacturing variances, it is likely genuine, as counterfeit Funko Pops are rare and usually exhibit poor quality control.

Funko has discontinued the production of the Butch T. Cougar Pop! College figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While the item is no longer available through official retail channels, it may occasionally appear on the secondary market through third-party resellers, though stock is typically limited.
To condition-check a Funko Pop! figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and molding defects under bright, direct light. Verify that the head is properly seated and aligned on the body, and check the packaging for any tears, creases, or signs of tampering if you are evaluating a sealed item. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a third-party grading service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on standardized criteria for paint, molding, and overall appearance.
