Common questions about the Cancer Pop! Zodiac from Funko (2017).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Cancer Pop! Zodiac is not generally considered rare, as it was part of a widely distributed 12-piece zodiac series released by Funko in 2017. Because the full set was produced in large quantities and sold through major retailers, individual figures like Cancer are typically easy to find on the secondary market. Its value is primarily tied to its condition and whether it is part of a complete set, rather than low production numbers.
The 2017 Funko Cancer Pop! Zodiac figure is a standard vinyl collectible that typically trades in the $10 to $25 range for a sealed, mint-condition item. As a common zodiac release, its value is largely determined by condition and whether the box is unopened. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on market demand, but it generally does not command a premium over other zodiac figures from the same year.
To authenticate your 2017 Cancer Pop! Zodiac, first verify the box seal is intact and the window is clear. Check that the vinyl figure has the correct glossy finish and that the base is solid with no visible mold lines or air bubbles. Confirm the SKU 01 is printed on the box, and ensure the figure's zodiac symbol and color scheme match the official 2017 release specifications. If the box is damaged or the figure shows signs of wear, compare it against known authentic examples from that year.
The Cancer Pop! Zodiac was released in 2017 by Funko.
The Cancer Pop! Zodiac figure is no longer in print. It was part of the 2017 Zodiac series, which has since been discontinued by Funko. While it is no longer sold new from the manufacturer, it remains available from third-party retailers and secondary markets, though prices may vary based on condition and demand.
To condition-check a Cancer Pop! Zodiac, inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, and verify that the box is free of significant wear or damage. Since this is a 2017 release, check for common issues like loose joints or faded colors, which are typical for older vinyl figures. For formal grading, you can submit the item to a third-party service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical grade based on specific criteria such as paint, molding, and packaging condition.
