No, the Carrie Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2023 as part of their regular movie series, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The retail value for the 2023 Carrie Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1436) is typically between $12 and $15 for a new, sealed item. Because this is a relatively recent release, it has not yet developed a significant secondary market premium, so prices generally remain close to the standard retail price.
To authenticate your 2023 Carrie Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1436), verify that the packaging displays the official Funko logo, the "Movies" series branding, and the specific SKU number 1436 on the back label. Examine the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the absence of mold lines or flashing, which are common indicators of counterfeit items. Additionally, check that the figure stands upright without excessive wobble and that the eyes are properly aligned, as these are frequent flaws in unauthorized reproductions.
