The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Cat Yzma Pop! Disney is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the widely distributed Disney Pop! line released in 2020, and it is commonly available in retail stores and on secondary markets.
The retail value of the Cat Yzma Pop! Disney (SKU 786) is typically between $10 and $15, which is the standard price point for most standard-sized Funko Pops. As a common item from a 2020 release, it does not command a significant premium in the secondary market, and its value generally remains at or below its original retail price.
You can authenticate your Cat Yzma Pop! by checking the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible copyright stamp that includes the year 2020 and the SKU number 786. Additionally, verify that the packaging features the official Funko logo and that the vinyl has a consistent, high-quality finish without visible mold lines or discoloration. If the figure lacks these specific markings or the paint application appears sloppy, it may be a counterfeit.
The Cat Yzma Pop! Disney was released in 2020 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Cat Yzma Pop! Disney figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear as new stock from third-party retailers, it is generally considered out of production and is primarily available through the secondary market.
To condition-check a Cat Yzma Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and signs of fading, paying particular attention to the eyes and the white fur areas which are prone to yellowing. Verify that the figure is seated correctly on its base without any cracks or stress fractures, and ensure the packaging is intact if you are evaluating the item as a sealed product. While third-party grading services like PSA or CGC can provide a standardized score, most collectors assess these figures based on visual inspection of the vinyl and box condition.
