No, the Cayde-6 Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released by Funko in 2024 as part of the Destiny 2 line, and it is widely available through major retail channels and online marketplaces.
The Cayde-6 Pop! Games figure (SKU 962) is a standard retail release from 2024, and its value is typically determined by its condition and market demand. As a recent release, it generally trades near its original retail price, often between $12 and $15, when new in box. Prices for this specific item can fluctuate based on current stock availability and collector interest in the Destiny franchise.
You can authenticate your Cayde-6 Pop! by checking for the official Funko logo and the "Pop! Games" branding on the box, which should be crisp and free of smudging. The figure itself should have a solid, uniform vinyl texture without visible seams, air bubbles, or paint bleed, particularly around the eyes and weapon details. Additionally, the box should feature the correct SKU number (962) and a barcode that matches Funko's official product listings for the 2024 release. If the packaging feels flimsy, the colors appear washed out, or the figure has a strong chemical smell, it is likely a counterfeit.

Funko has not publicly announced that the Cayde-6 Pop! Games (SKU 962) is out of print, so it is technically still in production. Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for paint flaws, scratches, or misalignments and verifying that the box is free of damage, creases, or price stickers. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and packaging's condition. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the process is not necessary for casual collection.
