The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Chamberlain Skeksis Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It was part of a standard 2016 release for the *The Dark Crystal* franchise and was widely distributed through major retail channels. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and market demand, it does not possess the scarcity of limited-edition or exclusive variants.
The Chamberlain Skeksis Pop! (SKU 342) is a standard mass-production figure from the 2016 *The Dark Crystal* series, so its value is primarily determined by condition and packaging. In typical retail condition, it generally sells for between $10 and $20, with prices fluctuating based on current market demand. Because it is not a limited edition or exclusive variant, it does not command a premium over its original retail price.
Authenticating a 2016 Funko Pop! requires examining the paint quality, as genuine items feature clean lines and consistent color application without significant bleeding or overspray. Check the base for a smooth, uniform finish and ensure the eyes are properly aligned and glossy, as counterfeits often exhibit cloudy or uneven eyes. Verify that the packaging includes a clear, undamaged window and that the Funko logo on the box is crisp and legible. If the figure feels lightweight or the plastic has a rough texture, it is likely a reproduction, so comparing it side-by-side with a verified authentic example is the most reliable method.

The Chamberlain Skeksis Pop! Movies figure (SKU 342) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It was part of a limited release for the 2016 film *The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance* and has since been discontinued. Collectors seeking this item must look for used or pre-owned copies on the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface defects such as paint chips, scratches, or mold lines, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body without gaps. You should also examine the box for any damage, dents, or signs of tampering, as the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. While professional grading services like PSA can assign a numerical grade based on these factors, most collectors perform a visual inspection at home to determine if the item is in Mint, Near Mint, or Good condition.
